There is one place in Keytesville, where women rarely stop
That is the nice, friendly, one chair Barber shop.
You will find the men going in and out every day
Some for service, others to loaf and have their say.
Now in this modern age, with the women’s right
Men have learned to accept some unusual sights.
In my opinion, things have gone a little too far
When a lady drives into the shop, in her car.
The loafers scattered but the Barber, with is usual flair
‘You are next Mrs. Schadt, step right in to the chair.’
