Below is a listing of services the Chariton County Historical Society currently provides. Contact us if we can help you in any way.

Research Requests

Please use the following form to request information that is available at the Historical Society. Requests have a minimum charge of $10 dollars per surname with the total amount to be determined by the number of copies to be made. All research request charges are quoted and money received by CCHS before any information is sent.

    Certificate Program

    If your lineal ancestors were in Chariton county as early as 1812 or saw military service in Missouri during the Civil War, you are invited to apply for a Territorial, Pioneer, or Military Certificate.
